Youth Advisory Committee

About the Youth Advisory Committee

The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) provides for youth participation in municipal government in an advisory capacity. YAC was created to help youth serve the City of Lancaster. The mission is to provide the youth of our community with opportunities to volunteer and take initiative on projects that will help to promote positive change in the city. All of our YAC participants will have opportunities to create and participate in a variety of positive experiences that nurture self-esteem, reinforce positive attitudes, and are meaningful to both the individual and the community.
