The Lancaster Fire Department is partnering with the Lancaster Recreation Center to present the 3rd annual Junior Fire Chiefs Academy, a division of the Lancaster S.A.F.E. Summer Camp. Summer Camp lasts June 13th through August 5th. Parents can register their children for the Fire Chiefs Academy and the Summer Camp together, but it's not required that children attend both. Registration for the Recreation Center Summer Camp is $100 per week for ages 5 through 11 years.
Junior Fire Chiefs Academy starts on June 16th through August 4th, every Thursday, from 12:45 pm to 2:45 pm. Children who are registered for Summer Camp may attend Junior Fire Chiefs Academy but they are not required to attend both. If parents wish to sign up only for JFCA, there is no fee to register. JFCA is for children ages 5 through 17 years.
